Francisco de Asís.

Next weekend we will be celebrating the Solemnity of St. Francis of Assisi, the Patron Saint of our parish. All the Masses will be celebrating this solemnity.  On Saturday, October 3rd, we will have the Blessing of the Animals (please bring your pets!) at noon and at 7:30 p.m. we will celebrate the gentle passing (Transitus) of St. Francis, who died peacefully as the sun was setting on October 3, 1226.  Please come and join us. / Celebraremos el próximo fin de semana la Solemnidad de nuestro santo patrono el san Francisco de Asís. Todas las misas dominicales se celebrarán esta fiesta. El sábado, el 3 de octubre, habirá la famosa Bendición de los Animales al honor de san Francisco al medio día (¡traigan sus mascotas!) y la celebración tranquila del fallecimiento (el Tránsito) de san Francisco a las 7:30 p.m. en la iglesia (falleció al atardecer el 3 de octubre 1226).  Están invitados a venir a rezar.

If you haven’t already, please register to vote if you are a US citizen and are 18 years old or older.  The last day to register to vote will be Monday, October 5. Also, please don’t forget to fill out the US census 2020 forms (www.2020census.gov). Thank you. /  Si usted es ciudadano estadounidense y tiene 18 años o más, favor de inscribirse a votar para la elección que viene el 3 de noviembre. El ultimo día de inscripciones será el lunes, el 5 de octubre.  “Su voto es su voz.” También, si usted todavía no ha llenado el formulario del censo 2020 estadounidense, favor de hacerlo pronto. Se terminará el censo a los finales de octubre. No importa si uno es ciudadano. Gracias.
