Reminder: We are conducting the Listening Sessions after all the Masses this weekend for Pope Francis’ Synod on Synodality. The Scripture passages will be selected from one of these three: Luke 6:20-26 (Beatitudes), Luke 10:29-37 (Parable of the Good Samaritan) and Luke 24:13-35 (the road to Emmaus). The same two reflection questions for each Scripture passage are (1) What is this Scripture passage saying to us as a church? What is it calling us to do? and (2) Guided by the Holy Spirit, what can our Church do or change to respond to this reading? / Un recordatorio: vamos a conducir las Sesiones de escucha después de cada misa este fin de semana sobre el tema del Sínodo de sinodalidad, propuesto por el Papa Francisco. Él nos solicita a nuestras reflexiones sobre la Iglesia. Usaremos unas de estos pasajes de la Biblia para la reflexión: Lucas 6:20-26 (las Bienaventuranzas), Lucas 10:29-37 (la parábola del buen samaritano) y Lucas 24:13-35 (el camino a Emaús). Las mismas dos preguntas de reflexión para cada pasaje son (1) ¿Qué nos está diciendo esta escritura a nosotros como iglesia? ¿Qué nos está llamando a hacer? y (2) Guiados por el Espíritu Santo, ¿qué podemos hacer o cambiar en nuestra Iglesia para responder a esta lectura?
