The Feast of the Lord’s Baptism closes the Season of Christmas and begins Ordinary Time. As of Advent we began Cycle C, which focuses on the Gospel of Luke, and we will continue through Ordinary Time, Lent, Easter – and Ordinary Time again – in Cycle C. / Esta Fiesta del Bautismo del Señor Jesús termina a la temporada de la Navidad y comienza el Tiempo Ordinario. Como iniciamos el Ciclo C en Adviento, durante lo que enfocamos en el evangelio según san Lucas, continuaremos este mismo ciclo a lo largo del año litúrgico – el Tiempo Ordinario, la Cuaresma, la Pascua y el Tiempo Ordinario de nuevo.

Please note in the e-bulletin the brief information about the Synod that Pope Francis has called for in October 2023. He is requesting that all Catholics participate in this by means of meeting as parishes and reflecting on the current reality of the Church and discerning together – throughout the world – the direction that the Holy Spirit is moving us. Our part of the process is to be completed by February 2022. Everyone will be invited to a meeting to reflect on questions together. The goal is to get the reflections to you beforehand. / Un aviso, por favor, de que adentro del boletín electrónico adjunto, hay informes del Sínodo de que el Papa Francisco ha iniciado para todos los católicos del mundo. Está solicitando a nuestras reflexiones y vamos a tener una reunión en cada idioma. Se cumple nuestro proceso por el medio febrero 2022, sino que el Sínodo se llevará a cabo en Roma en octubre 2023. Quiere que nos discernamos conjuntos las indicaciones del Espíritu Santo para la Iglesia. Es nuestra meta que ustedes recibirán las preguntas de reflexión antes de aquella reunión.
