A few items which I would like to highlight that are found in this Sunday’s bulletin:
1. I will be out of town this coming week, from Sunday late afternoon, November 14, and plan to return on Friday night, November 19. I’m going to Wisconsin for Franciscan leadership meetings.
2. Therefore, there will be NO livestreaming of the daily Masses or Monday evening Bible Study this week.
3. The Ministerial Association is again sponsoring ecumenical Thanksgiving Service, which will be held on Sunday, November 21, 2021 at 6 p.m. at First Baptist Church downtown. Everyone is invited to attend and pray!
4. There will be NO Mardi Gras Ball 2022 this coming February, due to various considerations. We hope to be ready for the Mardi Gras Ball 2023!
5. Advent is coming! Sunday, November 28, will be the First Sunday of Advent, Cycle C. Instead of the Monday evening Bible study, Fr. Cam will be leading a series of four evening reflections on Matthew Kelly’s Rediscovering Jesus. It will be held on the Mondays of Advent at 6 p.m. in the Friary Library and you can attend both in-person or virtually through (1) live streaming and (2) Zoom. If you would like to attend by Zoom, please give Fr. Kim your email address so that he can send you an invitation.

Unos detalles que quisiera enfatizar que están en el boletín electrónico de este domingo:
1. Yo estaré fuera de Greenwood durante esta semana que viene, de la tarde del domingo, 14 de noviembre hasta la noche del viernes, 19 de noviembre para una serie de reuniones del liderazgo franciscano en Wisconsin. La Asociación ministerial del condado Leflore patroniza el servicio religioso ecumenico anual de Acción de Gracias, que se lleva a cabo en inglés, a la Iglesia primera bautista en el centro de Greenwood, el domingo, 21 de noviembre, a las 6 p.m. ¡Todos están invitados y anhelados a asistir y a rezar!
4. NO habrá un Baile Mardi Gras 2022 este febrero que viene. Se espera celebrarlo el siguiente año 2023.
5. ¡Nos acerca el adviento! El domingo, 28 de noviembre será el primer domingo de adviento, Ciclo C. Vamos a continuar con los Rosarios al honor del Virgen de Guadalupe, como siempre, y luego, con las famosas Posadas. Mientras tanto, tendremos unos libritos católicos para su reflexión espiritual durante este santa temporada.
