With this email you are receiving the bilingual Sunday Bulletin for May 30,, 2021, the Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity, the bilingual Pastoral Reflection and the Service of the Word, for the Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity, Cycle B. Please also find attached the flyer and registration form for this year’s Vacation Bible School (VBS), June 21-24, 2021. Due to continuing concerns regarding the pandemic, registration will be limited to 50 children total – including pre-school 4 and 5 years old and grade school 6 through 11 years old. / Adjuntos a este correo electrónico están los siguientes: el boletín dominical bilingüe para el 30 de mayo 2021, que es la Solemnidad de la Santísima Trinidad, la Reflexión pastoral bilingüe y el Servicio de la Palabra, para la Solemnidad de la Santísima Trinidad, Ciclo B. Más, están adjuntos un volante y formulario de inscripción para la Escuela bíblica de vacaciones (EBV) que se llevará a cabo entre el 21 y 24 de junio 2021. Debido a la realidad de la pandemia, el limite del número de los niños y muchachos es 50, incluso los de pre escuela de 4 y 5 años y los de escuela entre los 6 hasta 11 años - volante y formulari de inscrpiciones estan en un solo adjunto.
This Sunday, we begin easing some of the restrictions put in place because of the pandemic. If you are fully vaccinated, you will not be required to wear a mask in church. If you are not fully vaccinated, you are encouraged to wear a facemask for your own protection and that of your family. This includes all children who are not vaccinated. Anyone who is vaccinated may choose to continue to wear a facemask. We will also begin the Communion Procession again this Sunday. The dispensation from the obligation to attend Sunday Mass and Mass on Holy Days of Obligation ends next weekend, the Solemnity of the Body and Blood of Christ. Those who are unable to join us for Sunday worship due to infirmity or for compelling reasons are excused. / Este domingo, empezamos a relajar unas restricciones que fueron impuestas por causa de la pandemia. Si usted se ha vacunado completamente, no se requiere que lleva cubrebocas. Para aquellos que no se han vacunado así, incluso los niños y muchachos, se recomienda que siguen llevando cubrebocas para su propia protección y la de su familia. De nuevo comenzamos la Procesión de Comunión este domingo. Se vence la dispensación diocesana de la obligación de asistir a las misas dominicales y de preceptos el próximo fin de semana, que es la Solemnidad del Cuerpo y Sangre de Cristo. Son excusados los que están enfermos y los que no pueden asistir por otros motivos de salud o circunstancias que los impiden asistir.
This coming Monday, Memorial Day, we honor those who have given the supreme sacrifice in the service of their country. We also remember the centenary of the violent horror of the Tulsa Massacre. In both cases we remember and pray for the deceased and for survivors and their descendants, and we pledge our lives to be faithful to the Gospel of Jesus and his call to love God above all and to love our neighbors as ourselves, to work nonviolently for peace and justice according to the heart of God. / Este lunes que viene es el Día de los Caídos en los EE UU en lo que conmemoramos a los que se han sacrificado supremamente al servicio de su país y a proteger a nuestra libertad. También conmemoramos al centenario del Masacre de Tulsa cuando fueron asesinados muchos afroamericanos durante un alboroto feroz y violento. En ambos casos, encomendamos a Dios en la esperanza de la vida eterna a todos los difuntos y rezamos por los supervivientes y sus descendientes. Más, nos comprometemos al Evangelio de Jesucristo a fin de que promovemos y vivimos nuestra vocación cristiana que es amar a Dios sobre todo y amar a nuestro prójimo como nosotros mismos, y a luchar por la paz y justicia del reino de Dios conforme el corazón de Dios.
