This Sunday, the teen Candidates for the Sacrament of Confirmation will receive the sacrament through the laying on of hands and anointing with Sacred Chrism by Bp. Joseph Kopacz at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church at 10 a.m. Please remember them in your prayers and also keep in prayer our catechumens who are preparing for the Sacrament of Baptism and First Holy Communion and our children, both from St. Francis of Assisi Elementary School and the Wednesday evening Faith Formation, who will be receiving their First Holy Communion the following weekend. Their names are in the bulletin. / Por favor recen por nuestros candidatos adolescentes para el Sacramento de la Confirmación que lo van a recibir por la imposición de manos y la unción del Sagrado Crisma por el Mons. José Kopacz este domingo, el 9 de mayo, a la Iglesia Inmaculado Corazón de María a la misa dominical a las 10 a.m. También guarden en sus oraciones, por favor, a nuestros catecúmenos que se preparan a recibir los Sacramentos de Bautismo y la Primera Comunión y por los muchachos de nuestra primaria de san Francisco de Asís y de la Formación de Fe de los miércoles a ICM que van a recibir a Cristo Sacramentado por la primera vez el siguiente fin de semana. Congratulations to all our mothers, grandmothers, godmothers, foster-mothers and all the women in our lives who have served as mothers. Happy Mothers’ Day! God bless you and keep you all safe in his mercy and love. For those who have lost their mothers, grandmothers, godmothers, foster mothers and mother-figures – may they rest in the Lord’s peace and rejoice eternally in his glory. And, may the Lord grant you great comfort. / ¡Felicidades a todas nuestras madres, abuelas, madrinas y madres adoptivas ya vivas! ¡Feliz Día de las Madres! Que Dios las bendiga y las aguarde en su miericordia y bondad.
