On December 8th, 2020, the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Pope Francis declared the opening of the Year of St. Joseph, Spouse of the Blessed Virgin and Foster Father of the Lord Jesus. This commemorates the 150th anniversary of Pope Blessed Pius IX declaring St. Joseph to be the Patron of the Universal Church. It is also a time for us to reflect together as Catholics on the profound meaning of the person and life of St. Joseph. Some information will be coming to you via email on St. Joseph during the next week. His solemnity is next Friday, March 19th. / El 8 de diciembre 2020, la Solemnidad de la Inmaculada Concepción de la Virgen María, anunció el Papa Francisco que se comenzó el Año de San José, esposo de la Virgen María y Padre adoptivo del Señor Jesucristo. Conmemora el 150o aniversario de que declaró el Papa Beato Pio IX de que San José era el Patrono de la Iglesia Universal. Más, es tiempo oportuno para nosotros católicos a reflexionar sobre la persona y vida de San José. Ustedes van a recibir un email durante la semana que entra sobre San José.
