This weekend we are beginning the celebrations of First Holy Communion. On Saturday, August 1st, at 10:00 a.m. Sylvester Moreno and Emilio Zúñiga are receiving the Eucharistic Lord for the first time. On Sunday at the 1:30 p.m. Mass, Alisson Virrey will receive the Lord in the Holy Eucharist for the first time. Similarly, several children will receive their First Holy Communion the following weekend. Please remember to keep them and their families in prayer. Thank you. / Este fin de semana inauguramos las celebraciones de las Primeras Comuniones. El sábado, el 1 de agosto, Sylvester Moreno y Emilio Zúñiga reciben el Señor eucarístico por la primera vez a una misa a las 10:00 a.m.. El domingo durante la misa a la 1:30 p.m., Alisson Virrey recibirá el Señor en la Sagrada Eucaristía por la primera vez. Asimismo, otros muchachos comulgarán por primera vez el siguiente fin de semana. Están invitados y animados a aguardarlos a ellos y sus familiares en sus oraciones. Muchas gracias.
As was announced last weekend, we are begin to collect the tickets and the donations ($1.00 per ticket) for the Mardi Gras Ball Committee’s 50-50 Raffle for the month of August. The drawing will be announced on Sunday, September 6th. Although we’re in a pandemic, we’re still planning for the parish’s annual Mardi Gras Ball on Saturday, February 13, 2021, the Saturday just before Ash Wednesday! The donation for each ticket is $1.00. In advance, thank you for your help. / Como y fue anunciado el fin de semana pasado, este fin de semana comenzamos de nuevo la rifa 50-50 a apoyar el Comité del Baile Mardi Gras. El donativo para cada boleto es $1.00. Se tiene una olla de plástico en la que puede depositar su sobre (estarán disponibles a la entrada de la iglesia) con su(s) boleto(s) y donativo. Se anunciará el ganador el domingo, el 6 de septiembre, al final de la misa a las 11:00 a.m. No se obliga estar presente a ganar. Muchas gracias por su apoyo. A propósito, se planea a realizar el Baile Mardi Gras el sábado, el 13 de febrero 2021, el sábado más cercano al Miércoles de Ceniza (el martes de grasa – Mardi Gras – es el día anterior).
