Sr. Thea Bowman, FSPA (Franciscan Sister of Perpetual Adoration) was originally from Canton, MS and was an energetic woman of faith who preached the Gospel from her heart with her whole life. Next Sunday, November 18th, at St. Peter the Apostle Cathedral in Jackson, MS, at the 10:30 a.m. Mass, Bp. Joseph Kopacz will declare her a Servant of God, the first official step toward declaring her a Blessed and then a Saint in the Catholic Church. A small delegation from our parish will be going.
